Bin Location Import

1. In the configuration dropdown, choose locations

1. Use the search function to find the depot in which you want to create the bin locations. Click on the name of the depot to enter the location edit screen. Don't skip this step! Just creating a location without being in the right depot will not work!

1. On the location edit page, go to the tab that says "bin locations."  This tab shows all of the bins created in that depot. Press "import bin locations."

1. For the import template, list all bin locations in a .xls file using the following format:

   1. Cell A1 should say "bin"

   2. Bin locations should be listed in column A starting in cell A2

   3. File must be a .xls!!! To save as ,xls, click save as. In the pop-up that appears, open the "save as type" dropdown. Choose "Excel 97-2003 workbook" and press save

1. The import bin locations button will prompt you to choose a document to upload. Upload the.xls file you have just saved. You should get a confirmation message and see the new bin loaded in the list
